Quick Tip
|
When a website user submits a Mad Blanks form, a Score Script is used to display a response on-screen. The Score Script output can be a simple "thank you for filling out the form" or it can figure out a response based on what the user input in the form. The Score Script can also send configurable email. |

Upgrade instructions are included in this article. I have released Mad Blanks 1.1.0 RC1 today. This release brings Joomla! 1.5.x compatibility (when using the legacy plugin), fixes a number of bugs, and adds a few new features to Score Scripting and the Create Single Record module. The following features have been added or modified: - Mad Blanks 1.1.0 RC1 and its modules work in Joomla! 1.5.x without requiring a modification to a Joomla! file (Enabling the legacy plugin is required to use Mad Blanks with Joomla! 1.5.x)
- The Create Single Record module works in Joomla! 1.5.x when Joomla! core SEO is used
- Per-field setting in the category allows radio button or check box options to appear horizontally or vertically
- Default answers can now appear in input and textarea type form fields
- Score Scripting: user-related tags have been added
- Create Single Record variables stored in the URL are now checked for authenticity using the HTTP referrer (like Joomla! does for mosmsg)
- The order of input fields in the Create Single Record module can be randomized when using Whole record at once (multiple fields on form) mode
- Parameters dealing with CSS in the modules are labeled to indicate whether they are for a DIV or a SPAN
- Score Scripting: a new tag was added to allow opening a popup window
The following bugs have been fixed: |
